Inspiring Future Engineers Through Meaningful Partnerships
At Global Skills Exchange, we believe that inspiring future engineers begins with meaningful experiences beyond the classroom. We are developing a specialist seven-day UK engineering immersion programme for students aged 15–19 from Qatar and the wider Middle East.
Discuss a Partnership →Create Opportunities. Inspire Future Talent.
Partnerships with GSE offer universities and industry organisations opportunities to engage with prospective international students while supporting STEM education and career exploration.
Engage With Future Students
Introduce motivated secondary school students to your institution and engineering disciplines at an important stage in their educational journey.
Showcase Your Expertise
Highlight your engineering departments, research, specialist facilities and innovative approaches to teaching through engaging experiences.
Strengthen International Connections
Develop opportunities to engage with schools and young people from Qatar and the wider Middle East.
Inspire STEM Talent
Help students understand how engineering, science, technology and mathematics contribute to solving real-world challenges.
Explore Long-Term Collaboration

University Partnership Opportunities
We recognise that each university has its own expertise, outreach priorities and operational requirements. Our approach is flexible, allowing us to develop mutually beneficial activities that complement existing university programmes.
- Engineering faculty visits and campus tours
- Practical engineering workshops and design challenges
- Academic presentations and university pathway information
- Meetings with academic staff and student ambassadors
- Insight into university life and learning environments
Industry Partnership Opportunities
Alongside university engagement, GSE aims to introduce students to engineering in real-world professional environments. We welcome partnerships with engineering, manufacturing, technology, energy and aerospace organisations.
- Educational visits to engineering and manufacturing facilities
- Introductions to innovative technologies and industrial processes
- Talks from professional engineers and industry specialists
- Demonstrations of engineering applications and emerging technologies
- Career insights, apprenticeships and graduate pathways
- Collaborative problem-solving or engineering design challenges
All activities would be developed collaboratively and remain subject to institutional approval, availability and any applicable costs. Operational safety, confidentiality and site requirements would be agreed in advance.
A Professionally Coordinated Programme
We aim to make participation straightforward for our university and industry partners by managing the wider educational programme.
School Engagement and Recruitment
Liaising with participating international schools and coordinating student group arrangements.
Programme Planning
Developing a structured itinerary with clear educational objectives and coordinating activities with partners.
Travel and Accommodation Coordination
Planning the wider visit, including accommodation, transport and travel logistics through appropriate providers.
Student Supervision and Safeguarding
Establishing suitable staffing, supervision, safeguarding procedures and risk management arrangements.
Communication and Administration
Providing a central point of contact for participating schools, universities, industry organisations and service providers.
Feedback and Evaluation
Gathering student and school feedback to evaluate educational outcomes and inform future programme development.
The precise responsibilities, arrangements and costs associated with each partnership would be discussed and agreed before delivery.
